Here we go, summer 2013.

Heyy!
Vika kouluviikko on ollut tosi kiva! Maanantaina oli 3h koulupäivä, sitte mentii Maijun, Epun, Josun ja Veeran kaa rannalle ku oli niin kiva sää. Tiistaina mentiin Suomenlinnaan luokkaretkelle ja oli tosi kivaa! Sen jälkeen mentii sit viel Veeran, Saran, Erkin ja Sofian kaa vähä shoppailee, paitsi en ostanu mitää muutaku Vapianost pasta-aterian :D Keskiviikkona kahvitettiin ysien juhlaa, ja siihe menikin koko koulupäivä. Torstaina oltiin koko aamupäivä meiän vanhassa koulurakennuksessa, ja oli kevätkirkko. Mä, Nea ja Kristofer laulettiin siellä Somewhere over the rainbow. Kai se meni ihan hyvin :D Sit illalla oli treenit ja semmosta. Ja tänään oli kevätjuhla, josta sitten jäi käteen kaksi stipendiä!! Luokka- ja musiikkistipendi. Aika mahtava fiilis on vielki siitä. Luokkastipendi annettiin yhdelle jokaiselta luokalta, näillä perusteilla: On panostanut koulutyöhön paljon, on aktiivisesti mukana tapahtumissa ja kaikkien kaveri. En ois uskonu että saisin sen :D Siitä tuli sitten 50€! Musiikki-stipendi annettiin kahdelle joka musaluokalta, ja sen perustelut on semmoset että on musikaalisesti lahjakas ja aktiivisesti mukana tunneilla yms. Siitä tuli 25€! :) Ja huomenna sitten kesäloma alkaa ja todistukset annetaan ja katotaa mitä sielt sitte tulee :D Mut huomiseks on kivat suunnitelmat, ja postaan sitte uuestaan siitä! Nyt kaikki, nauttikaa kesästä!

Heey!
Last school week has been super nice! On monday we had a 3h school day, after that we went to the beach with Maiju, Eppu, Josu and Veera because of the nice weather. On tuesday we went to Suomenlinna on a school trip and it was a lot of fun! Afterwards we went shopping with Veera, Sara, Erik and Sofia, but I didn't buy anything else then a pasta dinner from Vapiano. On wednesday the eight graders (not everyone) catered the ninth graders coffee-party thing. Where they get scholarships and stuff. On thursday we spent the day in our old school building, and we had the spring church. Me, Nea and Kristofer sang Somewhere over the rainbow. I guess it was ok :D Then in the evening I had my basketball practice. And today we had a spring event in school, and I got two scholarships!! A class- and a music scholarship. I still have a pretty awesome feeling about that :D The class scholarship was given to one from each class, for these reasons: Has made a huge effort on school work, is actively involved in school happenings and is everyones friend. I got 50€ from that! Then the music scholarship was given to two from each music class for these reasons: is musically talented and actively involved in classes etc. I got 25€ from that! And tomorrow our summer holiday starts, and we'll get our report cards and we'll see what i get from that :D But I got nice plans for tomorrow, and I'll make a new post about that! So everyone, enjoy summer!

Normaalisti teen postauksen ain viikon lopussa mut nyt en malttanut oottaa! Eli mulla on kesätyö, ja se on varmaan paras ikinä. Nopeasti selitettynä, esiinnyn (laulan) kun mun työnantaja pyytää :) Aika mahtavaa, right?:) Ja nyt ku sain mun kesätyöpalkan etukäteen, pystyn varaa lentoliput mun siskon luo Seattleen etukäteen ja ahh i'm just so happy! Pitkäst aikaa ei oo semmost jatkuvaa masennusta polkimassa alitajunnassa. Nyt ku mun dreams are finally starting to come true, ei oo mitää syytä miksei olis ilonen :) Smile more people!

Stevie Wonder - For Once In My Life

Heey!
Normally I only post at the end of the week, but now I just couldn't wait! So I have a summer job, and it's probably the best one ever. Quickly explained, I'm basically performing (singing) when my "boss" asks me to :) Pretty awesome, right? And now I got my "paycheck" in advance and I can book my plane tickets for summer, when I go to Seattle to visit my sister for a month!! and aaaahhh I'm just so happy! For the first time in a looong time I don't have this constant depression on my subconscious. And now when my dreams are finally coming true, there's no reason to not be happy. Smile more people!

Viime viikko on ollu toosi kiva! Joka päivä on ollu jotain ohjelmaa. Keskiviikkona avattiin Saran kaa rantakausi! Torstain alko vihdoin treenit. Perjantain mentii Sofian ja Elsan kaa rannalle, ja sen jälkee viel Sofian kaa niille syömää grilliruokaa :) Lauantain menin Josun kaa kattoo kauan odotetun The Great Gatsbyn! Sit vielä mentii Josulle yöks.

Ensinnäkin, menin kattoo sitä leffaa vain Leonardo DiCaprion takia, ja kaikki jotka tuntee mua edes vähän tietää että he is the love of my life <3 Eli kaikki siis tietää (pitäis ainaki tietää) sen tarinan. F. Scott Fitzgerald kirjoitti novellin 1925, ja se on amerikkalainen klassikko. Jay Gatsby (Leo) on salaperäinen miljardööri kuka järjestää joka viikonloppu juhlia, mutta kukaan ei oikeen tiiä miksi, ja miltä tämä Gatsby oikein näyttää ja mikä hänen elämän tarinansa on. Tarinan takana on siis suuri rakkaus, menetyksiä, menestyksen halua, ja kaikkea jännää. Baz Luhrmannin nerokas ohjaus ja upeat roolisuoritukset Carey Mulliganilta, Leolta, Tobey Maguirelta ja Joel Edgertonilta tekee elokuvasta melkein täydellisen, jos ei loppua oteta huomioon, oltiin Josun kaa ihan masentuneita monta tuntia sen jälkeen :( Leffassa on myös toosi hyvä soundtrack. Joten todellakin suosittelen joka ikiselle, menkää kattomaan!

Florence + The Machine - Over The Love (The Great Gatsby)

Last week has been super nice. I've had something going on every day. On wednesday me and Sara opened up the beach season! On thursday basketball practices finally started. On friday me, Elsa and Sofia went to the beach, and afterwards Sofia and I went to eat barbecue food at her place. On saturday Josu and I went to see the long expected movie, The Great Gatsby. And afterwards I went to a sleepover at her place.

First of all, I only went to see the movie because of Leonardo DiCaprio, and everyone who knows me even a little bit knows that he is the love of my life <3 So everyone knows (at least should know) the story. F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote it in 1925, and it's an American classic. Jay Gatsby (Leo) is a mysterious billionaire who organizes these parties at his gigantic house every weekend. No one really knows why, and what this Gatsby looks like, or what's his life story. There's a big love in the past, losses, ambition and all kinds of exciting things. Baz Luhrmann's genius directing, and amazing performances from Carey Mulligan, Leo, Tobey Maguire and Joel Edgerton make the movie almost perfect, if you don't think about the ending. Me and Josu were so depressed many hours after the movie... The soundtrack of the movie is also very good. So everyone, go see it! You won't regret it.

Oisin postannu maanantaina jo mut oli kevätkonsertti ja suomi-ranska ottelu ni ei oikeen pystyny :D Eli oon siis musaluokalla ja meillä on kolme konserttii vuodessa, tää oli siis vika tänä vuonna. mentiin ennen sitä veeralle valmistautuu ja ootan nyt et saan veeralta niit kuvii et voi lisää tänne! tiistaina käytii mun vaatekaappi läpi, kävin viulutunnilla ja menin pelaamaan korista ittekseni. Sit vielä kidutin itteäni kestävyysjuoksuilla... Kuolema. Tänään olin maijun, epun ja josun kaa shoppailemassa helsingissä ja oli super kivaa! Ostin H&M:stä kahet shortsit, punaset ja siniset, molemmat 9.90€. Ja carlingsist semmosen kivan topin 14.90€. En koskaan käy shoppailemassa joten olin iha yllättyny kuinka hyvin viihdyin siellä :D Nyt alko sit pitkä viikonloppu, huomenna ja perjantaina ei oo kouluu!

I would've posted on monday, but then we had a spring concert and Finland-France icehockey match so I didn't really have time :D I'm in a music class, and we have three concerts a year, this was the last one. Before the concert I went to Veera's to get ready, we took some photos as well, I'm just waiting for her to send 'em to me so I can add them here. On tuesday me and my mom went through my clothes, I had my violin lesson and then I went to play some basketball by myself. Also tortured myself with some stamina running... Death. Today I was with Maiju, Eppu and Josu. We went shopping in Helsinki, and it was so much fun! I bought two shorts from H&M, red and blue ones. Both were 9.90€. Then from Carlings, a nice top for 14.90€. I never go shopping, so I was quite surprised how I enjoyed it. Now our long weekend starts, no school on thursday and friday!

Eli lupasin tehä tänään ekan kunnon postauksen, mutta ei tänään oikeen tapahtunut paljon mitään muuta kun että olin hetken pelaamassa korista ulkon muutaman kaverin kanssa. Joten sen sijasta, aion kertoa vähän mun perheestä.
Mulla on kaks isosiskoa, Sarah ja Julia. Sarah on 24 vuotias, ja on oikeestaan vaan puolsisko (vaikka ei siltä tunnu) isän puolelta, ja hän on kotoisin Kanadasta. Kommunikointi tapahtuu pelkästään englanniksi, sillä hän ei osaa sanoa muuta suomeksi kuin että  : Minä rakastan sinua. Se ei haittaa mua ollenkaan koska englanti on mulle kuin toinen äidinkieli. Ajattelen aina kaiken englanniksi ja puhunkin sitä vapaa-ajalla aika paljon. Julia on taas ihan koko sisko. Hän on 16-vuotias, ja me ollaan ihan niinkuin päivä ja yö, ja ei pelkästään meidän hiusten takia. Meidän luonteet menee ihan ristiin, paitsi että huumorintaju on todella samanlainen.
Sitten taas mun vanhemmat. Me ollaan äidin kanssa oltu aina tosi läheisiä, varmaan sen takia koska hän on yksinhuoltaja. Isin kanssa olin tosi läheinen myös, me urheiltiin paljon yhdessä ja käytiin katsomassa oopperoita ja baletteja. Keskusteliin myös paljon mun tulevaisuudesta, koulunkäynnistä yms. Hän kuoli viime kesänä, eikä tiedetä vieläkään kunnolla että mihin. Tää vuosi on ollut järkyttävän ikävän sivussa muutenkin todella rankka, mutta ens lukuvuodelle on suuret odotukset!

So I promised to make a real post this time but nothing really happened today. I just went to play some basketball with a few friends. So instead I'm gonna tell you about my family.
I have two big sisters, Sarah and Julia. Sarah is actually a half sister (though it doesn't feel like it) from my dads side, and she's from Canada. Our communication only happens in English, 'cause she can't say anything else in Finnish besides I love you. It doesn't bother me at all, because English is like another mothers tongue to me. I always think in English, and talk a lot in English in my spare time. Julia on the other hand is a "full" sister, so to say, but we are like night and day, and not just because of our hair colors. Our personality's are SO different believe me, but we do have the same sense of humor.
And now my parents. My mom and I are really close, probably because she's a single parent. Me and my dad were really close as well. We did a lot of sports together, and went to see ballet- and opera performances. Also we talked a lot about my future, school etc. He died last summer, and we still don't know the real cause of death. And in the side of terrible longing, the year has been tough in many different ways, but I have a good feeling the next school year is gonna be great!

Nothing gold can stay, on runo jota toistetaan kirjassa muutamat kerrat, mutta saatte lukea kirjan itse jotta ymmärrätte mikä sen tarkoitus on. Tässä se runo:

~ I play basketball, I play the violin and ride horses.

~ we have a black poodle whose name is Sindy, she's more like a little sister though.

~ I follow the NBA, things that are going on in Hollywood, and I'm a sucker for award galas. 

~ THE MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION. Stay Gold is a phrase from the best book I've ever read, The outsiders by S.E. Hinton. Nothing gold can stay is a poem that's quite important to the story line, but you're gonna have to read the book to find out why! You can read the poem, it's in the middle of my post.
