Tää viikko on mennyt super nopeesti. Viimeset kokeet oli, ja hyvät numerotkin tuli :) Keskiviikkona oli tosiaan mun synttärit! :) Virallisena päivänä ei tapahtunut oikeen mitään erikoista, mutta perjantaina menin kaikkien mun parhaiden kaverien kanssa viettämään päivää Helsinkiin. Eka käytiin Starbucksissa, sitten mentiin Zaraan mistä sain synttärilahjaks ihanan neuleen minkä valitsin, ja sen jälkeen Hard Rock Caféen syömään! Ruoka oli herkullista, ja koko ravintola lauloi mulle syntymäpäivälaulun ja sain ilmasen jätski annoksen :3 Tämän jälkeen mentiin vielä Josulle kattomaan leffaa, ja sitten Sofia tuli meille yöks. Ihana päivä, kiitokset kaikille ketkä oli mukana!

Vielä tähän lisäksi äitin synttäri-ja joululahja: tapasin kielimatkalla kesällä 2012 Johanneksen, pojan Ruotsista kenestä tuli yks mun parhaista kavereista, ja ollaan puhuttu siitä asti Facebookissa. Nyt äiti anto mulle lahjaksi matkan hänen luokseen joululomalla!! Siellä sitten vietän päivät 27.12-1.1! En malta odottaa :)

Heey!
This week has gone by super fast. I had my last exams, and even got good grades from them :)
My birthday was last wednesday, but on the official day nothing special happened, but on friday we went to spend a day in Helsinki with all my best friends. First we went to Starbucks, then to Zara where I got a lovely sweater as a birthday present from the girls, and then we were off to Hard Rock Cafe for dinner! The food was delicious, and the whole restaurant sang Happy birthday to me, and I got a free ice cream dish :)
After this we went to Josu's to watch a movie, and then Sofia came to our place for the night. A wonderful day, thanks to everyone involved!

My mom's birthday and christmas present is so amazing: When I was in England in the summer 2012, I met Johannes, a boy from Sweden, who became one of my best friends and since then we've been chatting on Facebook. Now mom gave me a trip to go see him in Sweden! I'll be spending the days 27.12-1.1 there! I can't wait :)

Lea Michele put out a single on 10th! I've never bought anything from iTunes, but with Lea I made an exception. Her single Cannonball is suuuuch a good song, so y'all go buy it or listen to it from YouTube.

Nyt kun joulu alkaa lähestyä, on koulussakin ollu paljon rennompaa. Saatetaan päästä aina vähän aikasemmin, tai sitten on jotain muuta mukavaa ohjelmaa. Tällä viikolla oli kauden viimeset pelit, ja vaikka ei kumpaakaan voitettu niin olen ihan tyytyväinen omiin suorituksiini. Perjantaina ei tosiaan ollu koulua koska oli itsenäisyyspäivä. Päivällä sain sitten super hienon idean että pukeutuisin kuin Michael Jackson! Kaikki vaatekappaleet löyty omasta kaapista, ja kuvia löytyy alhaalta ;) Lauantai oliki tosi kiireinen päivä, eka käytiin äitin kanssa vähän shoppailemassa, sen jälkeen kävin Sofialla ja illan vietin Moritzin kanssa niillä katellen Ms. Marplea :)

Now that it's almost Christmas, school is a bit easier. We might get off school an hour early, or then there's some other nice activities. We've had our last games of the season this week, and even though we didn't win either of the, I'm pretty pleased with my performances. On Friday we didn't have school because of Independence day. In the afternoon I got an awesome idea to dress up as Michael Jackson! All pieces of clothing I found from my own closet, there's some pictures at the end of the post ;) Saturday was a busy day, first I went shopping with my mom, then I went to Sofias, and I spent the evening with Moritz at their house watching Ms. Marple :)

Perjantaina oltiin siis tosiaan porukalla Josulla, ja oli tosi kivaa! Siltä illalta ei kyllä löytynyt mitään julkasukelpoisia kuvia...Lauantai-aamuna lähettiin sitte Maijun kaa niille. Maattiin vaa ja katottii leffaa. Kun tulin kotiin, en valvonut kun pari tuntia, ja menin kahdeksalta nukkumaan... Ei oikee tultu nukuttua perjantaina. Tänään oli peli, ja sen jälkeen oon vaan lukenu kokeisiin ja ollu Netflixissä heh.

So on Friday we went to Josu's with a bunch of people, and it was super fun! I can't find any postable pictures from that night though... Saturday morning me and Maiju left Josu's house, and went to Maiju's. When I came home, I only stayed up for a few hours, and went to bed at eight... Yeah I didn't get that much sleep on Friday heh. Today I had a game, and after that I've been studying for exams and watched Netflix.

Nää viime kaks viikkoo, niiku muutki, on menny super nopeesti. Viime viikonloppuna kävin kattomassa perjantaina kauan odotetun Catching Firen! Olin odottanu sitä leffaa jotai kaks vuotta, ja pakko sanoo oli kyllä odotuksen arvoinen. Roolijako oli täydellinen, kaikki kohtaukset oli toteutettu just niin ku olin ne kuvitellu, kokonaisuutena ihan täydellinen. Ihan kuin oisin ite ohjannu sen elokuvan XD Vaikka kirja on aina parempi, ja vähä epäilin että millane tää leffa ois ku ykkösosa trilogiasta oli pieni pettymys, tää oli ihan uskomaton. MENKÄÄ KATSOMAAN! Mäki oon menossa tokaa kertaa kattomaan. 

Okei mutta jatketaan. Sitä ennen kävin siis Sofian ja Erican kanssa Vapianossa ja Starbucksissa. Pakko sanoo ettei Starbucks vaa sovi Suomeen. Ei yhtään. Frappucino maistu ihan samalta, mut ei. Just no. 

Lauantaina menin kattomaan Maijun peliä Epun kaa. Sen jälkeen menin Epulle loppuillaks. Sunnuntaina oli kaks peliä :) 

Tää viikko on ollut normaali, treenejä kokeita. Tänään oli päivä jota olin oottanut tosi kauan. Sibelius-lukion tutustumispäivä! Sinne oon ihan pienestä halunnut hakea, tietty on ollu pieniä kausia millon se ei oo innostanut, mut nytten oon harjotellut eri esitysmahdollisuuksia hakua varten jo kesäkuusta asti. Se paikka oli täydellinen, musta vaan tuntuu että oon siellä jo.

Huomenna mennään porukalla Josulle, ja tulee varmasti tosi kiva ilta! Lauantaina ja sunnuntaina on sitten peliä ja muuta mukavaa :)

Heey!

These past few weeks, like every other, have gone super fast. Last weekend I went to see the long awaited, Catching Fire! I'd been waiting for that movie for like two years, and I gotta say it was worth waiting. The casting was perfect, all scenes had been executed just the way I imagined them, as a whole it was perfect. Like I would've directed the movie XD And even though the book is always better, and I did have some doubts for what this movie was gonna be like after the small disappointment with the first part of the trilogy, this one was amazing. GO SEE IT! Even I'm gonna see it for the second time. 

Okey let's continue. Before that I went to Vapiano and Starbucks with Sofia and Erica. I gotta say that Starbucks just doesn't fit in Finland. Not at all. The frappuchino tasted the same, but no. Just no. 

On Saturday I went to see Maiju's hockeygame with Eppu. After that I went to Eppu's for the rest of the night. Then on Sunday I had two games :)

This week has been normal, practices and exams. Today was a day that I'd been looking forward to for a long time. The "getting to know the school" day in Sibelius-upper secondary school! (it's a music academy). I've wanted to go there since I was little, of course with short terms of not wanting to, but now I've been practicing different admission songs since June. That school was perfect for me, I just feel like I'm there already. 

Tomorrow we're gonna go to Josu's with the some people, and it's gonna be a great night! On Saturday and Sunday, I'll have games and other fun stuff :)

Tää viikko on ollu tosi kiireinen! On ollu hirveesti kokeita, treenejä ja konserttitreenejä... Ja sit saatiin vielä HPV-rokotus torstaina...Siitä lähtien ollu vasen käsi kipee jee. Perjantaina oli meiän vanhassa koulurakennuksessa konserttiharkat, ja sen jälkeen mentiin Maijun kaa niille. Sitten oli treenit, ja sen jälkeen vielä kävin Annalla jossain kemuissa ku Moritz rukoili mua tulemaan... Oli niin tylsää ku ei tuntenu ketää sieltä XD Lauantai-aamuna oli peli, sen jälkeen menin Sofialle Maijun kaa :) Oli tosi kivaa, katottii leffaa ja juteltiin vaa :) Tänään oli sitte viimein se meiän syyskonsertti. Esitettiin meiän luokan kaa Cup Song, ja Kalliolle kukkulalle. Ne meni kai ihan hyvin. Toi oli meiän vika syyskonsertti nyyh:(

This week has been super busy! I've had a bunch of exams, practices, and concert rehearsals... And then we got HPV-shots on thursday.. My arms been killing me since that. On Friday we had a concert rehearsal in our old school building, then Me and Maiju went to her house. Then I had practice, after that I went to Anna's to a party cos Moritz begged me to come... It was so boring not knowing anyone there XD On Saturday morning I had a game, then afterwards I went to Sofia's with Maiju. We had a blast, watching a movie and just talking. Today we finally had our fall concert. My class performed Cup Song, and a finnish folk song Kalliolle Kukkulalle. I guess they were both fine. This one was our last fall concert tear :(
Like always, my sunday night will be spent with Netflix :)

Tällä viikolla ei oikein ole tapahtunut mitään erikoista, paitsi et oon ollut kipeenä ja käytiin Ikeassa hankkimassa uudet verhot ja semmoset tähtivalot niitten päälle. Tosi kiva tuli :) Ja ai niin! Pari viikkoa sitten kun olin nähnyt Captain Phillips-elokuvan, kävin Suomalaisessa kirjakaupassa tilaamassa sen alkuperäisen kirjan mistä leffakin tehtiin, eli missä se kapteeni kertoo tarinan omasta näkökulmastaan. Se tuli torstaina ja kävin hakemassa sen jee! Super hyvä kirja, nyt meen jossain sivulla 70 :) Lauantaina menin Sofialle illaksi, ja sieltä sitten jossain kymmenen aikaan kotiin kamalassa sateessa... Olin ihan kuran peitossa kun pääsin kotiin. Tänään on siis Isänpäivä, eli käytiin isin haudalla viemässä kynttilä.
Loppu ilta menee taas kokeisiin lukemisen ja How I met your Motherin parissa :)

Nothing special has really happened this week, except for that I've been sick, and we went to Ikea to get some new curtains and this star-light thing on top of them. It looks really nice :) And oh! A few weeks ago, when I'd just seen Captain Phillips, I went to the Finnish bookstore, and ordered the original book from which the movie was made of, where the Captain tells the story from his point of view. It came on thursday, and I went to get it yay! It's a super good book, now I'm roaming around page 70 :) On Saturday I went to Sofia's to spend the evening and I came home around 10pm in awful rain... When I got home I was covered in mud... Yay.
So today is Father's Day, we visited dad's grave and took him a candle.
The rest of the evening will be spent by reading to exams and by watching How I met your Mother :)

Viime viikko meni mukavasti taas koulun, kavereiden ja treenien parissa. Keskiiviikkona oli taksvärkki päivä, eli tehään päivä jotain pientä työtä, esim. siivousta kotona mitä mä tein. Aamupäivällä kävin ennen siivouksen alottamista salilla, ja sen jälkeen käytiin Sofian kanssa hakemassa liput Catching Firen näytökseen, vasta 22.11, mutta piti varata ajoissa :) Torstaina oli peli, ja saatiin kauden eka voitto 54-41! Perjantaina menin Josulle yöks Epun ja Veeran kaa, katottiin Halloween, ja oli tosi kiva ilta :) Lauantai-iltana oli peli, ja sen jälkeen Sofia tuli meille yöks :) Tänään vaan oon lukenu kokeisiin, tehny läksyjä ja lukenu kirjaa. Ihan pelottavaa kuinka nopeesti tää lukuvuosi on edennyt, kohta on jo joulukin...

Heey!
Last week went nicely with school, friends and practice. On Wednesday we had a days work day, so you do some small stuff around home for instance, clean up, make food etc. I went to the gym in the morning, and after that me and Sofia went to pick up our tickets for Catching Fire! It isn't till 22.11, but had to reserve it in time :) On Thursday I had a game, and we got our first win of the season 54-41! On Friday I went to Josefiina's for the night with Veera and Eppu, we watched Halloween, and we had a great night :) On Saturday I had a game, and after that Sofia came to our place for a sleepover :) Today I've just studied, and read a book. It's scary how quickly this school year has gone, it's almost christmas!

Ihan hävettää ku en oo postannu niin pitkään aikaan... Ei oo vaan löytynyt aikaa, ja on aina vaan unohtunu tää blogi vähän. Kyllä se motivaatio tulee vielä takas :s Mut siis viime viikolla oli syysloma, jonka vietin lauantaihi asti mummolassa, ja lauantaina menin Maijun ja Sofian kanssa kattomaan Blues-Saipa (minkä Blues voitti 2-1!!), ja sen jälkeen mentiin kaikki Sofialle yöks :) Tää viikko on menny treenauksen ja kokeisiin lukemisen parissa. Eilen menin Epun kanssa salille Elixiaan, siellä oli semmonen avoimet ovet-päivä, ja sain kaks ilmaiskerta lappua! Jee :) Sen jälkeen mentiin suoraan Helsinkiin, minne Veera tuli myös, ja mentiin kattomaan leffa jonka oon monta viikkoo halunnu nähdä, Captain Phillips! Siitä kirjotan tohon alas "arvostelun" (?idk). Tänään oli sitten kaks peliä, joten oon tosi poikki. Nyt loppu illan vaan rentoudun :)

Elokuva on siis tositarina siitä, miten somalimerirosvot sieppasivat Amerikkalaisen laivan Afrikan merillä.
En edes tiedä miten tää pitäis alottaa. Kai sanomalla, että Captain Phillips on PARAS elokuva minkä olen nähnyt. Ja se on aika paljon, koska katon toosi paljon leffoja. Paul Greengrass ohjasi sen, joten oli odottettavissa upeutta. Greengrass on ohjannut paljon action/thrillereitä (meduusan isku & sinetti, united 93), ja pakko sanoa että tämä on hänen parasta työtään. Elokuvan jatkuva jännitys sai vatsani kramppailemaan ensimmäisistä kohtauksista alkaen. Ja nyt, syy miksi halusin nähdä elokuvan. Tom Hanks. Tom on aina ollut yksi lempinäyttelijöistäni, mutta tämän nähtyäni, ei ole kysymystäkään siitä kuka on parhain näyttelijä, kenen työtä olen nähnyt. Tom sopii täydellisesti kapteenin rooliin, ja koko elokuvan ajan en edes ajatellut häntä Tom Hanksina, vaan Kapteeni Phillipsinä. Viimeinen kohtaus (en kerro mitä siinä tapahtuu, teitä varten ketkä aiotte sen katsoa, JA KATSOTTEKIN) sai minut itkemään niin paljon ja tärisen vieläkin kohtauksen uskomattomuudesta. Kuulen Oscar-suhinaa koko elokuvalle, varsinkin Greengrassille, Hanksille ja pääsomali näyttelijälle, Barkhad Abdille! Täydet 5 tähteä, ja enemmän.

I'm ashamed I haven't posted in a such a long time... I just simply haven't found the time for it, and I've kind of lost my motivation to write this blog, hopefully I'll rediscover it soon. But anyways, last week we had our fall break. I spent it at my grandma's, and came back home on Saturday, and went to an icehockey game with Maiju and Sofia, then afterwards we went to Sofia's for a sleepover. This week has been simply all about practice, working out and studying. Yesterday I went to the gym with Eppu, cos they had this free day thingy there, and I got a two time free pass to the gym! Yaay:) After that we went straight to Helsinki, where we met up with Veera, and we went to see a movie that I've wanted to see for many weeks now, Captain Phillips. You can read my review of the movie after this.
And today I had two games, so I'm kinda wiped out. The rest of the day will be spent by relaxing :)

Captain Phillips

This movie is based on a true story, of when in 2009 an American ship was hijacked by Somali-pirates.
I don't even know how to start this. I guess by saying, that Captain Phillips is the greatest movie I've ever seen. And that's a lot, considering that I watch a looot of movies. It's directed by Paul Greengrass, so greatness was to be expected. Greengrass has directed a bunch of action/thriller movies (like United 93, the bourne supremacy/ultimatum), and I gotta say that this is some of his best work. The constant suspense in this film got my stomach cramping from the very first scenes. And now, the reason why I wanted to see the movie, Tom Hanks. He has always been one of my favorite actors, but now after seeing this, there's no question on who's the best actor whose work I've seen. Tom was the perfect fit for the captains role, and throughout the movie I wasn't thinking about him as Tom Hanks, but as Captain Phillips. The last scene (I won't tell you what happens in it, for you who are gonna go see it, and you WILL see it) got me crying so hard cos it was so intense, and I'm still shaking cos of its amazingness (I know that's not a word, but it totally should be). I hear Oscar buzz for the whole movie, especially for Greengrass, Hanks and the lead somali actor, Burkhad Abdi. I give this movie full five stars, and more.

Hungry in Hungary!

Viime viikko oltiin siis Unkarissa siis leirikoulussa. Pakko myöntää etten ollut yhtään innoissani siitä matkasta, mutta siitä tuli tosi hyvä reissu kyllä! Maanantaina käytiin museossa, ja käytiin siellä meiän ystävyyskoululla ekaa kertaa. Oli tosi lämmin tervetulo-toivotus, saatiin paljon leipiä, muffinsseja ja hedelmiä :) Illalla mentiin sitten mun kirjekaverin luo syömään Iidan ja Moritzin kanssa. Siellä saatiin tosi hyvää ruokaa ja hotellille vietäväksi vielä tähteitä. Illalla sitten kierreltiin kaupunkia :) Tiistaina mentiin Esztergomin vuorille ja semmoseen jännää vuoristorataa, mihin pysty mennä kaks kerrallaan ja sen vauhtia sai itse säädellä. Oli tosi hauska päivä! Keskiviikkona kierreltiin vaan Esztergomia, käytiin Bazilikassa (katolinen kirkko) paikallisten ylpeydessä, jossain linnassa ja illalla konsertissa jonka ne oli järjestänyt meille :) Sen jälkeen vielä mentiin Suomi-Unkari iltaa, jossa sitten hyvästeltiin unkarilaiset ja syötiin pizzaa :p Torstaina lähettiin Budapestiin! Aivan ihana kaupunki! Meil oli n. 3h opastettuu kierrosta, ja 3h30min vapaa aikaa 8) Siinä ajassa tuli kierreltyä kaikki kaupat missä halusinki käyä :) Menisin takas millon tahansa! Perjantaina jo tosiaan lähdin mummolaan viikonlopuks, ja lauantaina näin Julian uuden kämpän! Oli tosi kiva kolmio sille, sen huonekaverille ja niitten koirille. Tää viikko tulee menee kokeiden ja treenien parissa! Hulluille päivillekki pitäis ehtiä...

Heey!
So last week was spent in Hungary on a field trip. I gotta admit, I wasn't excited about it at first, but it turned out to be great! On Monday we went to the museum, and visited our friendship school for the first time. We got a real warm welcome with sandwiches, fruits and muffins :) In the evening me, Moritz and Iida went to my pen pals house for dinner. After that we just walked around town :) On Tuesday we went to the mountains in Esztergom, and to this weird rollercoaster that only to people can sit in, and you could control the speed yourself. It was super fun! On wednesday we went around Esztergom and went to Bazilika (a catholic churcc) kind of a local pride :D Then we went to some castle, and to a concert they had organized for us. Then we went to some Finland-Hungary night where we said goodbyes to the Hungarians, and ate pizza :p On Thursday we left for Budapest! I love that city! We had about a three hour tour with a guide, then 3h30mins of free time :) In that time I went to every place I wanted to go to! I'd go back any time. On Friday I left to my Grandmas right away, then on saturday I finally saw Julia's new apartment!  It was a great place. This week I will be spending with exams and practices!
